Our second week on the road is drawing to a close. Here are a few stats to date:

Total miles biked: 319.7 Riding days: 8 Most X-treme biking day: Custer, SD to Edgemont, SD in freezing rain Best rest area: Southeast Wyoming Visitor Center. OMG. Best (and only) free museum: Wyoming State Museum, Cheyenne, WY Snowstorms: 1 (Cheyenne, WY) Stays with family or friends: 5 Coffee shop visits: 7 Photos taken: 837 Bike trails closed by natural disasters: too many to count

Megan has fallen off her bicycle in the following ways: #1 - crashing into a curb while riding at 0.5mph up Catron Boulevard in Rapid City, SD #2 - riding into a snow bank while engrossed in an audiobook on the Michelson Trail in the Black Hills #3 - riding into a ditch because she was unable to unclip from her pedals south of Custer, SD #4 - being blown over into the road by a 40mph sidewind gust near Edgemont, SD #5 - randomly falling over at the top of a hill riding out of Edgemont, SD Since then she's been OK! (Fingers crossed.)

Number of times Jon has almost crashed because his front rack being wack: like infinity. But no actual crashes.

Positive effect of this trip on our relationship: priceless.
